The most famous beach of Caprera
The whole trail is within the protected area (Ta) and can therefore only be visited with the Park’s environmental guides.
It is possible to reach the trail directly from the Eastern Ridge using the variant that starts near Messa del Cervo. The 1.15-kilometre-long path is clearly visible and marked by scattered stone cairns. It allows you to reach the traditional trail in about 25 minutes. Also this variant is entirely in the protected area and can therefore only be visited with the Park’s environmental guides.
From the parking lot of Forte Arbuticci, follow the paved road to the south, up to a pitch with the obvious indication for path no. 10 to Cala Coticcio. From there the path goes down, at times steeply, through rocks and Mediterranean scrub. Shortly before the destination, a slightly more challenging passage takes you through rocks, but soon after your effort will be repaid by the arrival in the beautiful cove.
